Fleet vs Fleet Contest!

Do you know your sheet bend vs a square knot?

Do you know a Ballantine Coil vs a Bowline?

Be prepared to demonstrate your skills this Saturday for Club bragging rights!

Format: (during Appetizer Hour)

Each fleet will have round-robin; e.g. Jamie represents Highlanders in Round One, then Ben represents Highlanders in Round Two, etc. Captains and crew can participate. All fleets “tie off”, simultaneously, against one another, and a fleet is eliminated if they cannot make a knot.

Potential knots include

·        Square Knot

·        Bowline

·        Sheet Bend

·        Figure 8

·        Common Hitches – round turn & 2, clove

·        Potential “Bonus Knots” will be a surprise
